(Your trees from MA wave an orange and yellow hello, and say that they miss you.) :-)
I relate to both the desire to please (just like Cam & like you as a daughter) and the learning to just "let go" and not offer the opinion (or try to have it my way). Good for Cameron for owning a decision at the tender age of 12, and good for you for encouraging him toward that!Jo@Mylestoneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05488509129367354455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419239976631731952.post-2341397887016631782009-10-24T09:28:30.873-04:002009-10-24T09:28:30.873-04:00Fall in Florida!!! I am trying very hard to let them make their own decisions too..for me it is because I had no one helping me and I want more for them. But I see now, it does not matter WHY I want to step in and help...I need to let the kids do it.
I can totally see Eric's glare too...I gave it to Jeff just yesterday. :9
This is beautifully written my friend. I hope you enjoy those pumpkins for a long time...until they rot and stink up your front porch. Then you can bring them to my compost.Busy Bee Suzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18115487928147732314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419239976631731952.post-71715540265363368872009-10-25T01:37:49.554-04:002009-10-25T01:37:49.554-04:00I purchased my first pumpkins of the season today....I purchased my first pumpkins of the season today... just two... for my small autumn garden out front. You know, like 'help' people only because I really wanted to 'help' them by making them do things my way. My friend Gretchen totally helped me work thru that stage!Life with Kaishonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07874897254332872367noreply@blogger.com
