T...Oh, Dawn, I understand completely where you are. The teen years challenge us in ways we never expected. If it helps at all, things will get better.

After reading your beautiful words, I sat and thought awhile about the various difficult seasons of life. Sometimes, they're common ones--tweens, teens, empty nests, end of life issues with aging parents--but other times they are unique and unexpected, such as the one I'm currently dealing with.

In all of these seasons, we are told (in Scripture) not to fret, not to worry, and even though I know how much simpler life is whenever I follow that commandment, it isn't always what I choose to do. We are, after all, human. But, as you say, God is our hope and He can be trusted. That's what keeps us all going when the path becomes hard.

Here's wishing you a blessed and peaceful holiday weekend.Dayle ~ A Collection of Dayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01727194212928446402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4419239976631731952.post-51015072237306213672014-05-22T12:48:30.788-04:002014-05-22T12:48:30.788-04:00You've again shared your heart with the world ...You've again shared your heart with the world through your words.
