relaxed craziness?

It was three beautiful days... sunshine and cool breezes. Perfect theme park weather for us... and 30,000 others. Crowded is an understatement. I was oh-so-thankful for the much needed "quick queue" passes that we got for Christmas. That meant that we got to go to the front of the line... every time. Kind of makes you feel like a rock star... but I was just really thankful. The passes enabled me to relax just a little bit and not run my family around the park like crazy people. Okay. We were like crazy people anyway... but it was a more relaxed crazy, if there is such a thing. And it was fun. More fun than I had expected. And more than I thought to hope for. Sheikra, Manta, the front row at Shamu... a birthday, the Polar Express, penguins & polar bears...
My brain has been rattled by big coasters and my feet are swollen from the miles we have walked... but there is a smile on my face. Because we were all together... and as my kids grow it is more and more fun. And because we have three days of camping to look forward to... which means putting my feet up and not doing all that much at all. And that sounds pretty good to me!

Don't you just wish you could have an amusement park all to yourself sometime? I always think that... what's the deal with all the people... and then realize I'M ONE OF THEM. LOL I'm glad you had a nice, but hectic trip. Yes, camping sounds much more laid back. : )

Hi Dawn,
I just posted my comment on an earlier entry by accident, so I am posting again here. Just wanted to let you know that I gave you an award on my blog today -- you can "pick it up" over at Graceful! Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face!

Looks like fun! It seems like your kids must be at a very easy age to take this kind of vacation. No diapers, naps, sippy cups, meltdowns because of hunger.... It looks like you had a great time. Happy New Year!
